Privacy policy
Roundtuit is a place for your plans, and plans are personal. Here's exactly what happens with yours.
- Everything you add is private until you choose otherwise, item by item.
- We don't track you, sell your data, or use advertising IDs.
- Photos stay on your phone until you post them, with location removed.
- You can export everything or delete your account from the app at any time.
01Who we are
Roundtuit is made by PC3 Media Group LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Roundtuit iPhone app and roundtuit.io.
For anything about your data, write to privacy@roundtuit.io.
02What we collect
Things you give us
- Account: your email address and how you sign in (Apple, Google, or an email link). If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, we only see Apple's relay address.
- Profile: your handle and display name, and, if you add them, a photo, a short bio, and a home city.
- What you make: items on your list, their steps, dates, budgets, and stages; crews and crew messages; posts, photos, comments, and reactions; who you follow, block, or mute; and reports you send us.
Things the app sends automatically
- Notifications: a push token from Apple so we can send the notifications you turn on.
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, a technical report (app version, device model, what went wrong). Crash reports never include your email, name, handle, or anything you've written.
Things we don't collect
Your date of birth, home address, precise location, contacts, or advertising ID. We don't track you across other apps or websites, and the app never shows Apple's tracking prompt because there's nothing to ask about.
03Photos
Photos you add stay on your phone until you post them or share them with a crew. Before a photo is saved, we strip its location and camera details.
When you post a photo, it's stored on our servers so the people you chose can see it.
04How we use it
- To run Roundtuit: keep your list in sync, show your posts to the people you chose, share crew items with crew members, and send the notifications you've turned on.
- To keep people safe: check public content against our community guidelines, review reports, and act on them.
- To answer you when you write to support.
- To understand what's working, using counts on our own servers. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising tools.
- To meet legal obligations.
05Who can see what
Every item and post has its own setting, and private is the default.
- Private: only you.
- Crew: the members of that crew. Crew invites show the item's title, cover photo, date, and members' first names to anyone with the link.
- Public: anyone, in the app and on the web. Public posts get a web page so they can be shared, and anyone signed in can comment unless you turn comments off.
Your handle, display name, profile photo, bio, and Done count are visible to anyone who views your profile. When someone adds one of your public posts to their list, they get their own copy of the title, category, and cover photo, plus the steps if you made them public.
06What stays on your phone
Step suggestions come from templates stored in the app, so they work offline and your step text doesn't leave your phone unless you share the item with a crew or post it.
When you name an item, the app checks the title against a short safety list on your phone. If a title is refused, it isn't saved anywhere.
08How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete items, posts, comments, and photos at any time.
When you delete your account, it's hidden right away and you have 7 days to change your mind by signing back in. After 7 days, we permanently delete your account and everything in it. Copies other people made from your public posts stay on their lists, credited to “a former member.” Our backups roll over on their own schedule, and deleted data in them isn't restored or used.
If you join the waitlist on this website, we keep your email only to tell you when Roundtuit launches, then delete the list.
09Your choices and rights
- Change who can see any item or post, or set a default for new ones.
- Block or mute anyone. Blocking hides you from them everywhere.
- Turn individual notifications on or off, or pause them all.
- Export everything you've made from Settings as a ZIP file.
- Delete your account from Settings → Delete account.
You can also write to privacy@roundtuit.io to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. We answer within 30 days, and we give these rights to everyone, wherever you live. If you're in a place with its own privacy law, such as California or the EU, you can also complain to your local regulator.
10Age requirement
Roundtuit is for people 16 and older. If we learn that someone under 16 has an account, we'll delete it. If you think that's happened, let us know.
11Security
Data is encrypted on its way to us and where it's stored, and access rules on our database keep each person's private data to themselves. Sign-in tokens are kept in your phone's keychain. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.
12Where your data is processed
We're based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Wherever it's processed, this policy applies.
13This website
roundtuit.io sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Cloudflare, our host, processes your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks.
14Changes to this policy
If we make a change that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
