Terms of service
The rules for using Roundtuit, written to be read. Please do read them; they're an agreement between you and us.
- You must be 16 or older.
- You own what you post; we only use it to run Roundtuit, as your privacy settings allow.
- Suggested steps are ideas, not advice. You're responsible for doing things safely.
- Washington State law governs these terms.
01The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and PC3 Media Group LLC (“we”, “us”) for using the Roundtuit app and roundtuit.io. By creating an account or using Roundtuit, you agree to them, to our privacy policy, and to our community guidelines.
You must be 16 or older to use Roundtuit.
02Your account
- Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email link. Keep access to that sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person, and it's yours alone. Don't sell, share, or transfer it.
- Pick a handle that isn't misleading. We may reclaim a handle that impersonates someone or a brand, or that's been reserved.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.
03Your content
You own what you create on Roundtuit: your items, steps, photos, posts, comments, and messages.
So we can run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process, and display your content, only as needed to operate and improve Roundtuit and only to the people your privacy settings allow. For public posts, that includes showing them on a shareable web page.
When you make a post public, other people can add it to their own list. They get their own copy of the title, category, and cover photo, and the steps if you made them public. Those copies are theirs to keep and edit, even if you later delete your post or account.
The license ends when you delete the content, except for copies others have already added and data in backups that expire on their own.
Only post what you have the right to share. If a photo shows other people, make sure they're comfortable with it.
04Community rules
Everything you do on Roundtuit has to follow the community guidelines. We can remove content that breaks them, and we review reports with a real person.
05Crews
- A crew shares one item with the people you invite. They see that item only, never the rest of your list.
- Crew members can add, claim, complete, and edit steps. Only the crew's owner can delete steps, change the item's title, date, or cover, remove members, or delete the crew.
- If the owner deletes their account, ownership passes to the longest-standing member.
- What you post in a crew thread is visible to everyone in that crew, including people who join later.
06Your plans are your own
Suggested steps, templates, and other people's posts are ideas to get you started. They aren't professional, medical, legal, financial, or safety advice, and they may be incomplete or out of date.
Plenty of bucket-list goals carry real risk, like skydiving, a long hike, or travel abroad. You decide what to do and how to do it safely, and you're responsible for following the law and any permits, rules, or safety guidance that apply.
07Links and other companies
Roundtuit may link to websites, bookings, or offers from other companies. We don't control them and aren't part of any deal you make with them. Their terms and privacy policies apply.
08Our service
Roundtuit is free to use right now. We're always improving it, so features may change, and we may add paid features later; if we do, we'll tell you the price before you pay anything.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
09Things you can't do
- Break the law or help someone else do it.
- Scrape, copy, or collect data from Roundtuit or its users with bots or scripts.
- Reverse-engineer the app, get around its security or limits, or access accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Overload, disrupt, or attack the service.
- Use Roundtuit to send spam, run ads, or sell things without our written permission.
10Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. It's hidden right away and permanently deleted after 7 days unless you sign back in.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community guidelines, or that puts others at risk. Where it's safe to, we'll tell you why and give you a way to appeal.
11Disclaimers
We work hard on Roundtuit, but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that content from other people is accurate. Some places don't allow these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.
12Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Roundtuit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of content you posted or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
14Disputes
If you have a problem with Roundtuit, please write to support@roundtuit.io first; most things can be sorted out quickly that way.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that we can't resolve informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you live in a country that gives you the right to bring claims in your own courts, that right isn't affected.
15If you got Roundtuit from the App Store
These additional terms apply between you and us. Apple isn't a party to them.
- Your license is to use Roundtuit on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for Roundtuit and its content, and for providing maintenance and support.
- If Roundtuit fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation for Roundtuit.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about Roundtuit, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal requirement, and consumer protection claims.
- If someone claims that Roundtuit infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and handling that claim.
- You confirm that you aren't in a country under a U.S. government embargo and aren't on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you.
16Changes to these terms
If we make a change that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Roundtuit after that, the new terms apply. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
